After thinking about it, I now realize what might be the catalyst for getting the weaponoid booster. They announced that we would be getting weaponoid side stories in es - so we might actually be getting our boosters from that.

By equipping a Weapon, you will gain stats to battle enemies. Weapons are also unique in the sense that each of them possess inherent properties called Potentials, as well as other features that set them apart. By gaining stronger and stronger weapons, you are able to combat stronger foes and reach new heights. To use a Weapon, it must be set to your Palette.

There are initially 3 Palette Slots, but this value can be expanded to 6 by completing a certain Client Order.

Weapons equipped to your Palette appear on your person, and will be used when you press any Attack button. These are typically much stronger than your normal attacks and your primary means of dealing damage. There are two possible control schemes: Two Button and Three Button.

The active control scheme can be changed in the Options menu. PS Vita players cannot change to Three Button. If a MySet from a different control scheme is loaded, the equipped Photon Arts and Techniques on that weapon will be removed.

Upslotting, Augmenting \u0026 Affixing in PSO2

Two Button is the traditional method of control. Three Button is a method of control introduced in Episode 4. There is also a fourth button that can be used to cycle between Main and Sub palettes. Certain weapons have inherent properties called Potentials which can be considered as an additional skill for the player, so long as the weapon is equipped and drawn out; they range from damage buffs, to utility skills like improving healing items.

Special Potentials, on the other hand, require special dropped items from certain Quests before it can be unlocked; examples include the Zeinesis series weapons and the Yamato weapons. Special Potentials require varying amounts of items to unlock; for example, the Zeinesis series weapons require 30 Qliphad Fuses to unlock Lv.

Should a weapon have multiple Potentials, an option in the Item Lab is available to switch Potentials. In order to switch Potentials, you must pay a small fee of Meseta as well as provide materials for the switch; the cost to switch a Potential is equivalent to the combined cost of unlocking that Potential up to that Level. Certain skills can only work for the specific Damage Type, like Limit Break from the Fighter Skill tree, so understanding and knowing which attacks does the type of damage can be crucial at times.

PSO2 Station #4 Recap

Assault Rifles.Account age rule: 24 hours. Installation Instructions. Official Patch Sites. What is a weaponoid booster?

Unique Weapons Badge Shop

You can get them from PSO2es only via raising the affection of weapon chips via their stories iirc. I don't play it much so someone else probably knows the specifics better.

On PSO2es itself, you get them by maxing out a Weaponoid's affection and completing their Side Stories so that they give you gifts. After this, every time their gift bar fills up from taking them on Quests, they will give you a random item, which will sometimes be a Weaponoid Booster. I have a guld milla, should i just go with the photon spheres? It's not worth using Weaponoid Boosters on Guld Milla cos it'll get outclassed quickly by higher rarity weapons.

Just use Photon Spheres imo. Just found today that the Deo Tigridore rifle requires one for the ability enhance at weap lvl Not sure yet if that means all "Deo" class weapons require one for their ability.

This may be a bug. Alternatively I may move this to the bug report section. Thank you! GM-Deynger Both of the strongest weapon series in the game right now - the 13 star Reviloso and Aura weapons lines - have potential trees that require the need for Arena Boosters. Meaning you can't enhance either weapon if you want to use those potentials - which are the better ones to go with on both weapons.

LockeKosta Those potentials seem nice, but the weapons are weaker than the unique weapons badge weapons stat wise when fully grinded. DKGJustus The potentials make up for that and then some in a major way. They're better by a mile. GM-Deynger I'm willing to entertain that the bug might be the Weaponoid Boosters in the unique badges shop because those aren't currently useable in the game.

Maybe they were supposed to be Arena Boosters. LockeKosta Weaponoid boosters are used. Some weapons that offer a choice of two different potentials require them. When I get home i'll see if I can remember which weapons I used them on, I used them recently. Pretty sure if was my Shooting Drive launcher. Ah, okay. I honestly didn't look into the Weaponoid Boosters myself, was taking a team member at their word.

Even still, the arena boosters should've been put in one of those shops if the weapons were going to be put into the game, especially if they were going to be the current equivalent of end game.

But yeah, the weapons in the unique badge shop are really meant to be more cosmetic than actual high-end weapons and are outclassed by a lot of other 13 stars, including the other two 13 star lines that are in the game if you get their proper potentials. The Rev line is actually still stronger with its JA potential, of course this is prefaced on people playing their classes right and not just button mashing.

The unique badge weapons are from the phone app we're not getting. This post is updating in real time! Please take note as the information below is subject to change. Before we start, please be sure to check the New Year Carnival post to see which quests qualify for the event.

There will be two Titles for each class that act as conditions for unlocking level The answer to that question is pretty evident. Before people jump to conclusions or stress over how tedious and difficult it will be to reach lv80, id like to point out a few possibilities. The requirements for all classes could be account based.

The second requirement is more likely character based, given that class levels aren't shared among characters. Lets say that it's all character based. No need to get upset over the whole thing just take it two classes at a time.

Sega is being inflexible here, the game offers weapons you could use while leveling a class you don't like as much. As mentioned in some other post, time is the common issue. For the record I myself am 1 of those people who barely managed to max grind an NT wep — so im aware of the struggle. Our best bet for completing the requirement is w. In that case you have my condolences.

I'm worried that it'll be a mix of account and character requirements. I'd imagine they could make it so you can't join a Lv80 block unless your current character has completed those client orders, and gray out classes that you haven't done it on, so that you can't switch while in a Lv80 block. I can't believe they didn't even think to specify whether it's account or character based. This is a pretty big thing, so they should be trying to alleviate everyone's concerns. I bet that even if someone asked, they would have said "oh, we didn't think about that", just like with SG Scratch recycling.

Looking at the Unlocking Conditions for Level 80 Caps, it's like that the most unbalanced class in the game just received a further advantage. Getting one pet egg per collection file is no challange, while 6x the same weapon is already a problem with the time. On that rate, Summoner will be the only really playable class, if the difficulty of the game further increases and the game like to throw stones on the way of every other class. Lvl 80 seems a pain to reach, erf.

The recent survey asked people if they're interested in PvP. I wonder what the response was like? But they were already working on PvP before asking us.
